Deb Kirby graduated from Illinois State University (ISU) in 1979 with a BS degree in Mass Communication with an emphasis in journalism and minors in english and public relations. In 1981, she graduated from ISU with an MS degree in Speech Communication with an emphasis in organizational development and group dynamics. In 2014, she earned an MA degree in Wisdom Studies from Wisdom University. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Transformative Studies at the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS), with a focus on corporate culture and transformative change. She is a Senior Fellow and tutor with the Center for Writing and Scholarship (CWS).

Anne Kinne, a co-founder of this site, graduated from Humboldt State University in 1999 with a BS in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Recreation Administration and minors in Leadership Studies and Business. In 2002, she graduated with honors from the University of San Diego with a MA in Theology, with her own emphasis on Feminist Theology. In August, 2013, she entered into the Transformative Studies Department’s PhD program at the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS). Now a doctoral candidate, she is focusing on uncovering the healing potential when being with the Divine Feminine found in Nature. In January of 2014, she was accepted to the Fellowship in the Center for Writing and Scholarship (CWS) at CIIS, and in August, 2014, became a Senior Fellow at CWS.  Anne now the CWS Editing Services Manager.
