Deb Kirby graduated from Illinois State University (ISU) in 1979 with a BS degree in Mass Communication with an emphasis in Journalism and minors in English and Public Relations. In 1981, she graduated from ISU with an MS degree in Speech Communication with an emphasis in Organizational Development and Group Dynamics. In 2014, she earned an MA degree in Wisdom Studies from Wisdom University. She earned a Ph.D. in Transformative Studies at the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS), with a focus on corporate culture and transformative change. She is an Adjunct Instructor for writing courses in the School of Consciousness and Transformation and the School of Professional Psychology and Health. Deb also conducts a Dissertation Lab workshop series covering dissertations fundamentals.
Anne Kinne, a co-founder of this site, graduated from Humboldt State University in 1999 with a BS in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Recreation Administration and minors in Leadership Studies and Business. In 2002, she graduated with honors from the University of San Diego with a MA in Theology, with an emphasis on Feminist Theology. In 2013, she entered the Transformative Studies Department’s PhD program at the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS). Now a doctoral candidate, she is focusing on uncovering the healing potential of the Divine Feminine in Nature. In 2014, she was accepted to the Fellowship in the Center for Writing and Scholarship (CWS) at CIIS and became a Senior Fellow. Anne now the CWS Editing Services Manager.
